Save Studio City Tennis

Attention Tennis Players !!!

Once again the future of another valley tennis center is in danger of being torn down. We must act quickly in order to not let the last public pay per court facility in the San Fernando Valley, our own Studio City Tennis, be destroyed. The original lease on the property expires in 2005 and plans are already in motion to build a "High Priced" assisted living center for seniors. We cannot standby and hope that someone else will save our facility. WE need YOU to act now to save our courts!

What can you do as a tennis player to help save your tennis courts? The developers are already working on getting the property rezoned. The property was originally zoned for recreational use and we need to make sure it stays that way. We are organizing to fight against the redevelopment of Studio City tennis. Our purpose will be to represent our interests in all matters pertaining to the development and Zoning hearings.

We have already had one facility torn down and we are not about to have our new tennis home torn down. Please join me in the fighting to help save our courts. We want all players to join in this fight and we are especially looking for those of you who are willing to help first hand with this fight.

To join the fight to protect our tennis courts please send emails to SaveSCTennis@aol.com. I will keep you informed on what is going on with our courts and we will call on you when we need to write letters to all the powers that be. Together we WILL save our courts!!

This group will be independent of, and will not represent, the Studio City Tennis Management. Reason being they cannot be associated with us due to conflict of interest issues.
